| Usage |
Illustration programs such as those listed above are best used for creating logos and other vector-based artwork. While it is acceptable to use these programs for basic layout, they should never be used for multi-page or image-heavy layouts.

When layout is assembled in an illustration program, we typically save the vector-based design elements in .eps format and reassemble the layout with high-resolution images in a layout application.
