| Usage |
Photoshop is best used for merging and manipulating images. With an artist’s eye for detail, images can be merged together seamlessly and shadows can be added for realism. Photoshop should never be used as a page assembly program.

| File types |
Retain a layered file in .psd format. Final images should be flattened and saved in .tif format when possible. Certain functions, such as clipping paths, require files to be saved in .eps format.

| Output capabilities |
Final image files are placed in layout application for output to a RIP or press.
